Today, BJP leader Dashrath Bhagat started a new mass movement in protest of the mangrove which became a problem for cleaning the holding pond. In a meeting of Gram Sabha held in Vashi village, 31 proposals related to this were approved. Dasharath Bhagat said that mangrove is not a reserved and protected forest so in the name of protecting it, it is illegal to stop cleaning of holding pond, and to build a wall along the bay to ban fishermen.
