Jimmy Park slab collapses in Navi Mumbai's Nerul Half a dozen people were injured and one person died when the roof of a building collapsed in Navi Mumbai's Nerul this afternoon. The accident took place at Jimmy Park building in Sector 17 around 1 pm when the entire roof from the sixth floor to the first floor of the building collapsed. Fire brigade and police personnel who arrived on the information immediately started the relief work and rescued many residents, although 6 people were injured in the accident while one civilian died. The injured have been admitted to DY Hospital. Local BJP MLA Mandatai Mhatre, former MLA Sandeep Naik and Municipal Commissioner Abhijit Bangar took stock of the incident and stressed on providing necessary medical services to the injured.
